Refund, Return & Replacement Policy

Effective Date: 05 September 2026

This policy explains the terms applicable to products purchased directly from SASAIK LIGHT through www.sasaiklight.com or another sales channel officially operated by us. By placing an order, the customer agrees to this policy along with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to decorative LED series lights and related products purchased directly from SASAIK LIGHT. Purchases made through a third-party marketplace, dealer, distributor, or retailer may also be governed by that seller’s return policy. Customers should retain the invoice and packaging until the product has been checked and tested.

2. Seven-Day Claim Period

A request for return or replacement must be submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. The courier’s delivery record will ordinarily establish the delivery date. Requests received later may be handled only under an applicable product warranty.

3. Eligible Reasons

A request may be approved when:

  • The product was damaged during transit.
  • The product is defective or does not switch on when tested correctly.
  • A wrong product, colour, model, size, or quantity was delivered.
  • The package contains missing parts or accessories.
  • The product materially differs from its description at the time of purchase.

4. Essential Return Conditions

To qualify for return or replacement, the product should:

  • Be unused except for reasonable testing necessary to identify a defect.
  • Include the original packaging, invoice, labels, accessories, controller, connector, and other supplied parts.
  • Not have been cut, joined, rewired, modified, repaired, or permanently installed.
  • Be packed safely to avoid additional damage during return transit.

5. Unboxing Video and Evidence

Customers are strongly advised to record one continuous video beginning before the package is opened. It should show the shipping label, sealed parcel, opening, quantity received, and the claimed damage or defect. Clear photographs, a testing video, order number, and invoice may also be requested.

An unboxing video helps us investigate transit claims quickly; applicable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

6. How to Submit a Request

Email info@sasaiklight.com within the claim period with the following details. Do not send a product back until written return instructions are issued.

  • Customer’s name, phone number, and email address.
  • Order number, invoice number, and delivery date.
  • Product name, model, quantity, and reason for the request.
  • Clear photographs, testing video, and unboxing video, if available.
  • Preferred resolution: replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund.

7. Initial Troubleshooting

Some issues may result from a loose connector, incorrect power source, controller setting, or installation method. Our team may request basic troubleshooting or a video call before authorising a return. This does not remove the customer’s right to a remedy for a verified defect.

8. Return Authorisation

If the request appears eligible, SASAIK LIGHT will issue return instructions. Products sent without authorisation, to an incorrect address, or through an unapproved shipping method may be refused or delayed.

9. Return Shipping Charges

For a verified damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrectly supplied product, SASAIK LIGHT will arrange the return or reimburse reasonable approved return-shipping charges.

For any discretionary return accepted for another reason, the customer may bear shipping costs. Premium or express costs incurred without approval will not ordinarily be reimbursed.

10. Inspection and Decision

Returned products will be inspected after receipt to verify the product, serial or batch details where applicable, completeness, packaging, and reported issue. The customer will be informed whether the request is approved, partially approved, or rejected.

Inspection is normally completed within 3–5 business days after receipt. More time may be required for technical testing, courier investigation, or manufacturer assessment.

11. Replacement and Exchange

An approved replacement will ordinarily be dispatched after inspection, subject to stock availability. If the same model or colour is unavailable, the customer may be offered an equivalent product, another available product with a price adjustment, store credit, or a refund.

The replacement will be sent to the original delivery address unless another address is approved before dispatch. Delivery time depends on stock and PIN-code serviceability.

12. Refund Method and Timeline

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method wherever possible. SASAIK LIGHT will normally initiate the refund within 5–7 business days after approval. Banks, card networks, UPI providers, or payment gateways may need an additional 5–10 business days to reflect it.

For Cash on Delivery orders, verified bank or UPI details may be requested. SASAIK LIGHT is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect details or the customer’s bank or payment provider.

13. Refundable and Non-Refundable Charges

For an error attributable to SASAIK LIGHT or a verified defective product, the approved refund will include the affected product price and applicable standard delivery charges.

COD fees, express delivery, gift wrapping, convenience fees, and other service charges may be non-refundable unless the service was not provided or applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Non-Returnable Situations

A return may be rejected where:

  • The request is based only on a change of mind or dislike of colour, design, brightness, flashing pattern, or lighting effect.
  • The product has been installed, used extensively, cut, joined, rewired, altered, repaired, or damaged after delivery.
  • Damage resulted from misuse, incorrect voltage, voltage fluctuation, water, fire, heat, impact, improper storage, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.
  • The product, accessories, packaging, labels, or invoice are missing, unless connected with the original delivery issue.
  • The correctly supplied product was sold as clearance, final sale, customised, or specially manufactured.

15. Order Cancellation

An order may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us promptly. If payment has been collected, an approved cancellation refund will be initiated to the original payment method.

An order cannot ordinarily be cancelled after dispatch. Customised, bulk, or specially manufactured orders cannot be cancelled after procurement or production begins. Non-recoverable costs already incurred may be deducted where legally permitted and disclosed.

16. Refused, Undelivered, and Returned-to-Origin Orders

If delivery fails because the address or contact details were incorrect, the customer was unavailable, or the parcel was refused without a valid reason, forward and return shipping may be deducted from an approved refund.

Re-dispatch may require additional shipping charges. This does not apply where refusal resulted from visible transit damage or another valid delivery concern.

17. Bulk, Wholesale, and Business Orders

Bulk, wholesale, institutional, or business orders may be governed by the quotation, proforma invoice, purchase order, sampling approval, or a separate written agreement.

Quantity, colour, length, and technical specifications should be checked before confirmation. Minor manufacturing tolerances that do not affect ordinary product use will not automatically qualify as defects.

Transit shortages or visible carton damage should be recorded on the delivery receipt and reported promptly.

Where terms conflict, a separately accepted commercial agreement will apply to the extent permitted by law.

18. Warranty Claims

A return claim and warranty claim are different. The 7-day period covers eligible delivery-related or immediately identifiable issues. After that period, a defect may be considered under the warranty stated on the product page, invoice, packaging, or warranty card.

Warranty does not ordinarily cover normal wear and tear, physical damage, misuse, water damage, voltage fluctuation, unauthorised repair, overuse beyond the product rating, or improper installation.

19. Fraud Prevention

SASAIK LIGHT may reject requests involving substituted products, altered evidence, false claims, repeated misuse of the return process, or suspected fraud. Appropriate verification may be requested before a remedy is processed.

20. Customer Rights and Policy Updates

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable Indian consumer-protection law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

We may update this policy; the version displayed at the time of purchase will ordinarily apply to that order.
