Make in India: The Story Behind SASAIK’s LED Manufacturing

In 2011, most decorative LED series lights sold in India were imported, largely from China. Mr. Jitendra Gulrajani saw an opportunity to change that, and founded SASAIK Lights with a simple goal: manufacture premium decorative LED lighting right here in India.

It wasn’t an easy shift. Building local manufacturing capability for decorative LED series lights meant investing in quality control, durable materials and craftsmanship that could compete with, and eventually surpass, imported alternatives.

Over the years, that focus on quality and Make in India manufacturing has helped SASAIK Lights grow into a trusted name among dealers, distributors and customers across the country, supplying decorative lighting for festivals, weddings, homes, commercial spaces and events.

Manufacturing in India also means shorter supply chains, more consistent quality control and the ability to respond quickly to what Indian customers and decorators actually need each festival season.
